Momentum Grows for Anonymous Communication as School Administrators Implement Innovative School Safety Strategies

OXFORD, MS — June 27, 2007 — AnComm, a leading provider of anonymous messaging and communications solutions to the education market, today announced that nine schools in four states have selected AnComm’s ‘Talk About It®’ anonymous online and text based reporting service to foster a more comfortable learning environment and reduce the likelihood of school violence. With the addition of these new customers, AnComm’s ‘Talk About It’ anonymous online and text based reporting service is now a central component of school safety strategies being implemented in more than 93 schools across the United States.

“We selected AnComm’s ‘Talk About It®’ service because anonymous communications is at the core of our school safety strategy,” said Superintendent Dr. Sharon Dodson of Henry County Schools in Virginia. “With ‘Talk About It®,’ students feel newly empowered to come forward with their troubles via an intuitive web-based portal and let school counselors help them resolve problems before they turn to violence.”

“Security cameras and metal detectors do not foster a more comfortable learning environment. In order to make our schools safer, we must break down the barriers of communication between faculty and students.” said Carter Myers, President of AnComm. “With the Talk About It anonymous online and text based reporting service, troubled students can come forward and begin a dialogue anonymously without fear of reprisal or embarrassment to seek help and resolution to their problems.”

Funding for AnComm’s ‘Talk About It®’ service is for provided for under Title IV, the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act which provides financial assistance for state and local drug and violence prevention activities in elementary, secondary schools and institutions of higher education.
